Transtheme Showjumping Fences
| TWIN TOWERS |
 |
| Final
Execution |
| Turning Malaysia’s most recognisable
buildings into showjumping fences could have been quite
easily (and badly) done by taking out the details. Instead,
we kept the details by creating the twin towers to scale.
We built our twin towers floor by floor using Styrofoam,
then coating it with P.U. Finally we added the metallic
paint. The result is a visually stunning fence that is
immediately recognisable as “Kuala Lumpur.” |

| HIBISCUS |
 |
| Final Execution |
| The Hibiscus is the national flower of Malaysia. Created
for Tourism Malaysia for the KL Grand Prix 2003. This
beautiful and visually stunning 3-D fence has become
a feature of the KL Grand Prix and undoubtedly will be
used in the Kuala Lumpur World Cup Final in 2006. |
^
| WAU |
 |
| Final Execution |
| There’s a real “wow” value to our
Wau fence. Inspired by the traditional Kelantanese Wau
or kite. |
^
| KERIS |
 |
| Final Execution |
| To Malays a keris is a personal sacred weapon. It is
also a symbol of a warrior. Our reason for using this
beautiful symbol is to potray the courage of the horse & rider
in this sport. |
^
| CHINESE LANTERN |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Reflecting Malaysia’s multi-ethnicity, the Chinese
Lantern fence uses real paper lanterns on a wooden frame.
A simple yet visually attractive and elegant fence. |
^
| SEAHORSES |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Our seahorses stand 1.8 m high and are carved out of
Styrofoam, P.U. coated and painted. Surprisingly light,
yet very sturdy. Attractive fences that make stunning “pillars.” |
^
| BUTTERFLIES |
 |
| Conceptual Drawing |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Our butterflies may be cut from plywood,
but there is a 5 cm fill between sides to give the fence
a third dimension. An eye-catching fence on any course. |
^
| PASU |
 |
| Conceptual Drawing |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Malaysia’s 3-D water pot makes
a simple yet elegant statement. This also showcases one
Malaysia’s many handicrafts. It is one of the more
visually attractive jumps when decorated with local fauna & flora. |
^
| HELICONIA |
 |
| Conceptual Drawing |
 |
| Final Execution |
| The Heliconia is a jungle plant that
flourishes in the tropical jungles of Malaysia. A design
statement on the local vegetation that could be found
here. |
^
| RAFFLESIA |
 |
| Conceptual Drawing |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Inspired by Malaysia’s orchids.
What better orchid than the largest in the world, the
Rafflesia. This fence debuted in the Grand Derby of the
National Horse Show 2002. |
^
| BATIK PARROT |
 |
| Conceptual Drawing |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Batik is a type of natural dyeing process that has
become artistic and is used as a national dress on formal
occasions. Our Batik Parrot fence combines the batik
theme with the colourful Malaysian Parrot. |
^
| HORSESHOE |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Another simple design done in Styrofoam and P.U. A
definite eye-catching cross-country fence. |
^
| WALL |
 |
| Final Execution |
| There’s nothing quite like a brick wall. This
wall had sloped sides, a white top and 1.6 m high matching
pillars. |

| GASING |
 |
| Conceptual Drawing |
 |

Sponsors Fences
Occasionally we are asked to create fences using a sponsors
logo or product. Here are some of our more interesting efforts.
| KERIS INTERNATIONAL |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Turning a logo into a showjumping fence can be a challenge. |
^
| EAU CLAIRE |
 |
| Final Execution |
| Sometimes a sponsor’s fence is immediately recognisable. |
